Sagittarius season means a shift of energy is upon us. We’re ready to move on from the intensity of relating to life through power dynamics, and the transformation that comes from unboundaried relationships, toward experiencing life through the lens of the potential that exists in every ounce of our experiences.
Go big and don’t go home.
This is horse energy territory - a nomadic way of life at its finest. We’re focused on feeling unscrupulously free & unchained. We’re into what shines - we’re drawn to it. And we feel more stable when no one’s trying to shove us into one, tethering our waists to a saddle & rope.
Don’t try to tame me - don’t try to ride me! That’s a weird thing to say. And I’m gonna leave it in because Sagittarius is the sign of awkwardness, so it’s on brand.
If you want to learn how to be embarrassed and survive, let your local Sagittarius be your mentor. They’ll show you how to make it work.
The physical circumstances of a horse are what we’re integrating. The moving, the sensing, the running, the skittishness - how even when we’re standing still, there’s movement. Heaps of life happening there. These truths lead to a physicality and overall energy that’s not naturally “cool.”
That’s OK. We’re meant to expand our horizons at this time. How far can you really go if you’re focused on fitting in with the latest trend? At some point, you have to realize that running ahead toward a more profound vision of life, and tripping over your newfound awareness along the way IS more freeing than the accolades of present consciousness trend-think.
Being a braggart, particularly about other people’s accomplishments is surely a sign that you’re needing to seek some form of higher wisdom for yourself. Trying to attach yourself to someone else’s profits or success - bragging about the famous cousin you never met - this is a sturdy symptom of a missing spiritual connection.
When we’re under the influence of Sagittarius energy, we must discover a way to travel toward a higher perspective about the current circumstances. It’s the only way to keep our nervousness about the potentials in the room from inspiring us to run far, far away, from the responsibilities that assist us in our freedom-seeking.
This is a Zeus associated sign. Everyone went to Zeus for the answers. “Who is right and who is wrong, Zeus? And what’s the punishment?”
When you feel unfit for the world, like your legs aren’t in rhythm with the current landscape, you might arrogantly - ignorantly? - assert what’s right and true for others. Without having experienced what they’ve experienced. You might struggle to honor another person’s right to be on a specific journey.
I love you AND the truth is: no one likely asked for your assertion.
You might just really need to enjoy a bit of play, to help you feel OK about feeling stuck in one place.
If the inner horse has been stabled for too long, you’ll could feel like kicking out the walls of the room to seek new pastures. Or, you might feel so profoundly depressed that your spirit needs reclamation.
Fight! Compete with the urges to give yourself away to the sadness. Don’t give up on yourself - ever. Just because someone else did doesn’t mean you have to. In fact, it might be that very experience that felt so profoundly painful, which serves as the catalyst for you to become devoted to your own journey of self discovery.
Our bodies are tapping into horse-like qualities during Sagittarius season.
We can pick up on the energy in the room, get easily spooked by it and take off in abrupt and perhaps awkward, weird-to-humans ways.
It makes sense. If you noticed the repressed rage in the person you were talking to, would you want to stay close by? No f***ing thanks, man!
A horse wouldn’t want to be around the human who kicked him, or is capable of kicking him in the future. Just sayin’
We’ve just come from Scorpio season. We remember what went on back there, but we also want to leave it behind and find a happier perspective to align with. We can tell ourselves a story about how we’ve healed from something awful with finality, but that’s just a story. So many layers to our experiences, that we will need to comb through again down the road.
But now, we’ve got more access to the positive, expansive potential in the room, too - after having left the mess of rebirth behind. We don't want to be anywhere near that pain anymore. Onward! Where's the nearest glass of optimism? I wanna gulp of of it! Take me THERE!
We’re meant to engage with optimism during Sagittarius season.
We only struggle in survival mode when we choose to worship the past. We have an opportunity to cut ties with it & experience what’s possible, right here and right now. While still remembering in our bodies, the way we had to run away from something that put our spiritual life force connection at risk - the jerk that kicked us.
And we need a bit of play to help us along! We need to rely upon our spiritual links to do it. Our connections with higher consciousness. That’s our road trip travel partner. Otherwise we may attempt to outsource the feeling of freedom we get from that connection by blasting through our credit cards & savings.
Sagittarius season can be an unfortunate time of year for financial health and our waist line if we get delusional about reality.
We might assume it’ll all work itself out — that responsibility can go to the wayside. With Sagittarius and it’s loyalty to optimism that we all so desperately need more of, things often do work out in the long run.
But I’m here to offer (even though no one asked for my opinion) that if you really want to feel free, the practical elements of earthly living need tending to. AND you have to compromise with your inner spirited, instinct-based adventurer - it’s needs cannot be denied, or it’ll get your attention by wrecking something useful to your journey.
If we are aware that the want for excess in the physical form is a symptom of a need to listen for an inner guide, things work out in a more auspicious fashion.
If we direct our competitive nature toward learning something opposite to what we learned in our early years, we will make supportive-of-freedom choices.
Don’t ignore the VIX
This is a leading financial indicator of market sentiment which is now in the greed zone. Long term investors consider taking profits at these moments.
If the majority is going all in, it’s usually a time when the trading vehicle is close to having reached a high.
Could be a temporary one. But the majority being wrong is what moves markets in the opposite direction.
Don't get in a fight with your money because you've suffocated your inner horse.
Lot's of dogmatic proclamations about financial markets out there. Waiting for proof that something is keen on running higher through realistic trade analysis is a better strategy than going all in when the market is at a high.
If you can make a deal with your inner horse that you won’t keep abandoning it in the stable; that you’ll let it roam free and be the nomadic explorer it is, you might not feel so keen to set off fireworks in a dry tinder area.
We’re less delusional when we’ve given ourselves time to experience wisdom-gathering.
We’re not trying to compensate for what’s missing when we are loyal to acts that actually fulfill the need.
When we've lost our connection to the Almighty Whoa within we tend to compensate with overinflated idealism. There's a part of all of us that's not made for this world; rather, it’s an inner essence that’s meant to guide us on our travels.
We access wisdom that inspires faith in life by allowing ourselves the freedom to seek something greater - bigger, wiser - more expansive.
It’s not the gold necklace; it’s not the famous insta-friend;
It’s not the mercedes you're skittish to drive; it’s not rushing to dump your savings into a token when it’s at the top of the TDI;
It’s not the cookies, the associated expanding waistline, or wanting something just because someone else has it;
It’s that we’re all searching for something more. And the moreness we need is not in physical form.
